Introduction to the Research Group.
The Data-Driven Society Study Group focuses on research that examines how new technologies transform society and create new interpretive frameworks. Our interest is not solely in the technology itself, but in the social impact and changes that arise from it. We hold regular monthly study meetings to discuss research topics such as the social impact of technological innovation, credit scoring and management, and algorithmic decision making.
In addition to these study meetings, we conduct research surveys, hold open research conferences, lectures, and academic exchanges related to these themes. The purpose of this website is to share information about our research activities and to publish research results based on competitive research funds. We also aim to promote the sharing of knowledge for the public good, and organize and publish a list of the latest global research trends related to the data-driven society.
We welcome anyone interested in joining our research group. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in sharing new insights and perspectives, and in collectively exploring the impact of technological innovation in the data-driven society.
